Yes, these are the bike lanes I covet... when I visited Germany and the Netherlands for the first time I remember the fantastic feeling of freedom that came with being able to get anywhere SAFELY on a bicycle. Brooklyn deserves these lanes and lots of them.</description>

		<description>I just saw the 9th Ave bike lanes in Manhattan yesterday and was so impressed. They are completely protected from moving traffic, and even from parking lanes. We need more streets like this to make cycling a viable transportation alternative in the city.
