Purchased some gourds and delicious pecan pie and cookies. Nothing like pure, unadulterated food - without preservatives! It was a really nice surprise, and capped off a perfectly beautiful Autumn day. Brooklynites - take advantage of it! I was there yesterday, and so nice to see fresh produce, eggs, meat, cheese and baked goods just a short train ride away from my home in Midwood. I'm glad. There's so much to do there, not just shop for healthy food. And besides, stuff like food stamps are accepted, so people can eat well for less.
