Church Avenue Communal Garden’s 10/10/10 report!
As part of 350.org’s 10/10/10 Global Work Party campaign to fight climate change, Sustainable Flatbush hosted an event in partnership with the Flatbush Reformed Church, the Brooklyn Food Coalition, and the Flatbush Farm Share CSA to clean up our new garden space at 890 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

Our Traffic Calming Block Party on Sunday was a big success and lots of fun! Thanks to the efforts of the many people who worked on the event, as well as an enthusiastic bunch of local residents
Garden Visioning Brainstorm Ideas
As Jeremy described in his last blog post, on June 16th we had part two of our brainstorming sessions for the new community garden we’re creating with Flatbush Reformed Church, in the backyard space of 890 Flatbush.
