Tax Credits for biofuel
If your home or apartment building uses oil heat, you may be eligible for a tax credit by switching to biofuel. We just received this email from Tri-State Biodiesel (whose production facility is located right here in Brooklyn):

Tribute in Light — the memorial to the Twin Towers in remembrance of the September 11th attacks — is being powered by used cooking oil converted to fuel, provided by Brooklyn’s Tri-State Biodiesel.
