For the first time, at Greening Flatbush 2012 Sustainable Flatbush will honor an organization that we believe embodies the theme of the event — Garden Where You Are. The 300 East 25th Street Block Association, aka The Greenest Block in Brooklyn, will be the recipients of this year’s Greening Flatbush award.
Greening Flatbush is back, Sunday March 25th. Get involved! Sustainable Flatbush will host our 4th annual Greening Flatbush: Garden Where You Are, on Sunday, March 25th at 2pm.
You can’t miss it. At the corner of Campus Road and Avenue H rests a haven, a green paradise, a joy to behold — the Campus Road Community Garden. The garden has been growing at its current location since 1997!
This Saturday, October 3rd, join with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and local gardeners to take the initiative on establishing a community-led leaf composting project!
On Tuesday, June 16th we are holding our next event: an Orientation for the Sustainable Flatbush Urban Gardens and Farms Initiative!
